I voted No on SB 878 today. This bill increases the probationary periods for certain misdemeanor offenses involving controlled or chemical substances. Individuals like me that live with substance use disorder disease need help not criminalization!

I’m troubled by the antisemitic attack that killed two Israeli Embassy staffers in D.C. last night. Antisemitism and all hate is evil. Unrighteous. This cannot continue. Too many lies, and, bullets. God bring healing. But more than that bring change. Amen 🙏🏾

President Donald J. Trump cut Medicaid & Food Stamps by one mil. Eliminating healthcare for thousands, creating additional hardships for the bottom 10% of our population while raising debt ceiling by 4 mill. to give a 85,000 tax break to people that make over 1 mil. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I am not sleeping at night. I am very disturbed by the Federal Government’s decision to not pay SNAP Benefits starting November 1, 2025. Across Florida, more than 3.3 million residents rely on SNAP benefits to meet basic nutritional needs. The government should NEVER stop food.
