This past Sunday, I joined JCAN NYC & Adamah in Inwood Hill Park, where old-growth trees remind us what’s at stake. Climate justice is not a slogan—it is survival. Enforce the CLCPA. Build public solar. End peaker plants. NY’s laws demand action—and action must begin now.

Drivers keep New York alive through long hours and heavy burdens, yet their voices are too often ignored. At our “TLC Express” and “Senator on Your Corner,” drivers, riders, and neighbors spoke truth—reminding us that justice begins on our streets, where every voice must matter.

For 25 years, the Brides’ March has turned grief into defiance, remembrance into a call for justice. We walk for Gladys, for survivors, for every home that must be free of fear. Love is never control. Violence is never private. Change must be systemic, and the time is now.
