From the Collection: Recovered U.S. $2 bill belonging to Robert Joseph Gschaar. Gschaar lived in NY with his wife. During their marriage, they carried a $2 bill—a reminder that they were two of a kind. On 9/11, he was on the South Tower’s 92nd floor. Gschaar was 55 years old.

A lifelong New Yorker, Danielle Delie lived in Manhattan. On 9/11, Delie was on the North Tower’s 101st floor, where she worked as a Marsh & McLennan vice president. She was 47 years old. Today, we placed a white rose at her name on the #911Memorial to mark her 71st birthday.

Walwyn Stuart lived on Long Island with his wife and their baby daughter. A PAPD officer, Stuart was assigned to the World Trade Center PATH station. On 9/11, after evacuating the station, Officer Stuart went to the North Tower to assist the rescue efforts. He was 28 years old.

Rosa Maria Chapa lived in Virginia with her husband & had raised five children. After 31 years of working for the U.S. government, Chapa was just a few months from retiring. On 9/11, she was at the Pentagon, where she served as a senior management officer. Chapa was 63 years old.
