This research suggests that birds have been breeding in Arctic regions for a very, very long time. Today is also my birthday and I am so happy that the paper and my illustration made the cover of Science! Great present for me! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰

Finally got to visit Dinosaur Valley State Park today! Soooo many theropod and sauropod fossil tracks along the Paloxi River. The tracks are Early Cretaceous in age. The theropod is believed to probably have been Acrocanthosaurus amd the Sauropod Sauroposeidon

Yesterday I ran into this beautiful and huge Western Ratsnake (Pantherophis obsoletus). It was well over 1.5 m long. Definitely one of the largest ratsnakes Iโ€™ve found
