New raps treasurer Calum Ferguson (Calum Ferguson) presenting on the last day of IUPAC Macro2024 Conference-University of Warwick

It was nice to meet future scientists from South Korea! Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung

This year our group retreat was on water (sailing boat or canoe) 🛶⛵️ Team spirit was fantastic. We discussed sustainable ideas for Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung and interacted to further strengthen the group. I’m very proud of my group and I’m looking forwards to our next research challenges.

We are hiring!‼️🚨🔔 Seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our EM group to investigate soft matter at an atomic level! Our team Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung has an excellent CryoEM setup and is eager to welcome new members! Check out our jobs and please RT! mpip-mainz.mpg.de/en/landfester/…

Grateful to the selection committee for this exciting opportunity and to Landfester Department Calum Ferguson for the support! So many inspiring talks from peers today. Looking forward to presenting my work tomorrow in the morning session (09:10 am - 09:30 am). #ACSFall2024 ACS PMSE Division

Thanks for the photo and support Landfester Department ! It was a very exciting week and glad that I had the opportunity to meet so many scientists from different countries. #ACSFall2024 ACS PMSE Division

#COFs are finally scalable. Read our work in Angewandte Chemie on how to make many imine COFs with a very simple green protocol. All you need is n-butanol, water and acetic acid to produce them in decagram scales at ambient pressure. No Schlenk, no ampules, not toxic. Roy Lavendomme

This year my group Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung turned the The Nobel Prize press release into a fun game. They gathered to discuss and predict the winners. One of the teams successfully predicted protein design and prediction. Congratulations to the Nobel laureates for the award!

Grateful for an unforgettable time at Landfester Department Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung. It's been a pleasant journey filled with inspiring colleagues, supportive group members, and amazing friends who made every moment special. Thank you all for the memories, lessons, and countless moments of joy.

Thrilled to announce that I will be joining the Dept. of Energy Science and Engineering at DGIST 🇰🇷 as an Assistant Professor in Feb 2025. Deeply grateful to my mentors (Hadley Sikes @sikeslab.bsky.social Landfester Department Calum Ferguson) for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this journey.

In our latest work J. Am. Chem. Soc., we have developed the closest structural mimic of the OEC of PS-II. Huge thanks to Tim for the incredible collaboration and to the students Dr. Sikha Gupta, Pragya Arora, and Dr. Baghendra Singh for their outstanding execution! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
