Tonight our citizens in policing team were in full force for the annual Christmas Carol service at L'pool Parish Church by Chief Con Serena Kennedy KPM, We had our mini police, police cadets, specials & our Merseyside Police Band all contributing Also Hatton Hill Primary School led the singing brilliantly ๐๐ต๐ฎโโ๏ธ



Our final Merseyside Police Cadet duty of the year completed today at the Christmas markets. Our cadets have attended over the last three weeks & engaged with visitors, stall holders & police colleagues. ๐ ๐๐ฎโโ๏ธ MerPol CEU National Volunteer Police Cadets Merseyside Specials



Last night I was delighted to attend Merseyside Specials attestation for 9 new officers with such diverse backgrounds & skills to bring into the role. The added pleasure that 3 of them are former police cadets who passed out in April & now start the next part of their police journey



We were delighted to welcome our new intake of police cadets for the 25/26 program today. Over 60 young people starting their journey with us, with amazing opportunities to experience new things and develop themselves awaits them ๐ฎ๐ National Volunteer Police Cadets Merseyside Police MerPol CEU


Our Merseyside Police cadets attended for their week 2 session at the weekend. An input from our clinical psychologist, uniform collection & an input from a former police & High Sheriff police cadet on his experience in both roles. Our cadets can now apply for the High Sheriff role



Our new cadets attended todayโs Emergency Services Fun Day at Southport Football Club. It was their first time at a public event in their uniform and they were a credit to themselves and the force. ๐๐ฎ #StandUpForSouthport #southtport #emergencyservices National Volunteer Police Cadets MerPol CEU


Today our Merseyside Police Cadets had an input kindly provided by Simon Galley & Emma from St John Ambulance England on first aid. Informative and presented in a fun way to help the cadets learn some vital skills should they ever need to use them. Thankyou ๐๐ฎ National Volunteer Police Cadets MerPol CEU

Today our Merseyside Police Cadets have been in MerPol St Helens assisting local officers to complete open land searches for knives & weapons of the local parks (Victoria Park & Fosters Park), as well as St Helens town centre. They were also able to engage with the local community ๐ฎ


Our Merseyside Police Mini Police officers have been busy this week with St Christopherโs RC School attending the police museum & Broad Square school going on a team building walk to Loggerheads. Both with our CIPโs team & both having a knife crime input provided for op Sceptre too


Delighted to attend the Signing of the Rolls today with the High Sheriff Billy Hui BEM, DL at the QEII courts. Our high sheriff cadets Alicia & George completed their final High Sheriff duty after their year in role. Well done & thank you for all your volunteering over the year ๐ ๐ฎ

Tonight we held our Valuing Volunteers 2025 event to recognise all the volunteers who give their time for the communities of Merseyside in many different ways. So Many inspiring people helping to make a difference. ๐๐#VolunteersWeek Merseyside Police


Today for our Merseyside Police Cadets it was myself as the guest speaker with the subject topic being DVI disaster victim identification & how it all works, when itโs used & highlighting all the work that goes on behind the scenes whilst providing my experiences from deployments ๐ฎ


@ todayโs Merseyside Police Cadet session we had our guest speakers & one of our helpers Lauren present. Lauren was a cadet on the 23/24 cohort, then became a special for 15 months & now moves onto becoming a regular officer next week. Congratulations on the next step of your journey
