The huge generosity of Shah Jahan Mosque community meant we could take home cooked Iftar to displaced YP in 3 towns throughout Ramadan. Such a treat to meet so many new people, all gesturing kindness & compassion to strangers. Eid Mubarak to all you brilliant people. And 🙏
this #RefugeeWeek2021 we want to celebrate the many friends of Big Leaf who help to support our young people. This Ramadan, we were able to provide Iftar to our YP thanks to the wonderful generosity of the community at Shah Jahan Mosque. #WeCannotWalkAlone.

Paul Weller & his mother visited @shahjahanmosque mosque today. Ann was the caretaker of the Mosque in the 1950's. She visited the mosque today with her son Paul and daughter after 60 years. Ann used to get paid £3 a week to keep the Mosque and grounds tidy. 🧵
