The boys 4x200 destroys the old 4x200m relay school record. The old record was set back in 2015 with a time of 1:27.99. Today's team of Emmanuel Taye, Jack Hove, Joseph Taye and Sir Brody Miller went 1:27.13 and have the second fastest time in Minnesota!

The Shakopee boys track and field team had some great performances at the section 2AAA meet and won the meet! The Sabres scored 136 points to win the meet. You can see full results linked in the bio on the track and field website.

The Shakopee Sabers have numerous state bound athletes! In total we are sending 14 athletes to state in 16 total events. Congratulations to these athletes on qualifying for the MSHSL State meet!

In her second meet attempting Triple Jump, Samantha Carr breaks the school record with a jump of 37-05.50. Samantha broke the old school record by over a foot!

We have fast and academically talented athletes!. Both girls and boys teams earned Academic All State Awards for having a team average GPA over 3.75. We also had some athletes earn individual all state academic awards as well. Way to go athletes!

The team celebrated this year's athletes at the banquet on Tuesday evening. It was great to hear from coaches, recognize athletes and enjoy cake afterwards to cap off the season. Great work this year Sabers! Looking forward to watching a few more of you compete state!
