It's devastating that Congress is weeks away from jeopardizing access to surgical care for millions of seniors across the nation. Millions of us—physicians of all specialties, call on Congress to take immediate action to #StopTheFullCut & stabilize the Medicare payment system.

NPs & PAs are appropriately caring for % of primary care patients needs. Article reference PC docs trouble getting patients specialty care-much of which can't be done by NP/PA. Retirement wave & growing patient demand isn't unique to primary care bostonglobe.com/2023/02/05/met…

It's always an honor to collaborate with the amazing Leah Backhus MD MPH FACS. In this American College of Surgeons Bulletin article, we address the question: 💡Why examine leadership through the lens of gender❓ WomenSurgeons WomenInThoracicSurg facs.org/for-medical-pr…

I am excited to attend this meeting and speak on a panel with two incredible surgeon advocates. Maryland surgeons should definitely plan to attend this fantastic meeting.

Fact. Democrats do not want the Doc Fix because they want to push everyone into a single payer system. Fortunately I spoke with the Trump Transition Team and have assurances it will be included in the March CR INCLUDING a retrospective reimbursement.
