It means so much to have your endorsements, Michelle Obama and Barack Obama. Letβs get to work.

Had a terrific afternoon at Preston Lodge High School to see the end of the summer club. Lots of very happy children & their families having fun.π Over 50 young people volunteering over their summer holidays to support activities. π Well done Team The Pennypit Trust π

Our family fun day also saw visitors from Working for Change Collective East Lothian, East Lothian Works, East Lothian Councilβs Connected Communities who came to engage with our families. Days like this allow us to also celebrate the amazing commitment our volunteers make to support our vital provision π

I had a terrific afternoon at Nungate Gala & the sunshine came out for you. Well done to all the Gala Committee for organising. To Queen Harley Scott, Consort Noah Brown & your Court you all did a superb job. And you couldn't have a gala without Haddington Pipe Band π π π

A huge thank you to Team HS East Lothian for another very powerful AGM. It really brought to light for me the huge difference the local groups are making to parents & carers. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. Over the year supported 143 families with 246 children.

Fa'side Climate, Travel & Sustainability group invite you to apply for funding. Microgrants are available for up to Β£500 for projects that fit the groups aims. To find out more, or to apply please contact Neil by email - [email protected]

Great turn out of parents & carers at Knox Academy Parent Council Council meeting. Helpful presentation on pathways & qualifications. Good to hear from the Senior Pupil Team of their plans focusing on ambition & achievement. Looking forward to hear of Remembrance evening for local Veterans. π

Thank you to Cllr Fiona Dugdale and Cllr Shamin Akhtar for visiting us this morning π€ Fiona and Shamin spent a full two hours chatting to our staff and hearing about our services! Great to see such interest in, and support for, our work βΊοΈ #EastLothian #MakingADifferenceTogether

Great to catch up with the Haddington Central TRA group at Knox Academy. Lots of issues raised that matter to the local community such as spending, 20mph signage and overgrown hedges. All will be followed up. Even talk of Christmas storytelling events! π π βοΈ East Lothian TRP
