Well, I dont know what United Utilities were doing on my backstreet outside my gate, but since they messed around with the pipes the other week I now have water pouring from the overflow pipe on the wall.

Made an effort to try Tim Hortons this evening. It was a smaller meal than I expected for the price but it was good quality food.

Spent the past 4 hours setting up a new water catching system. The raised bin should capture water from the shed roof, which should then feed into the blue bins through the hose. Having one bin scattered here and there wasn't working... #GrowYourOwn #Allotment

I didn't go away anywhere for my week off work. I chose to work on things for my future instead. Very productive week getting the allotment set up my own way and working on some other things at home as well.

Spent a good hour or so trimming the tomato plants this morning. It should help improve ventilation in the greenhouse and the plants can feed the fruit rather than the side shoots and leaves. I perhaps have too many in a tight space though. Lesson learned for next year.
