We’re so proud of our partnership with Prison Radio Association. They go above and beyond to promote our programmes and the results show. For this learner, he went from hearing about us on National Prison Radio, to being able to read a full book.


We were delighted to see that one of our mentors had written a short story in InsideTime recently. The story highlights the low literacy rates among Gypsy, Traveller, and Roma communities, and shows his passion for being a mentor. insidetime.org/comment/a-stor…

Since we started making radio with people in prison, we have won 48 industry awards including yet another Gold at this years The Radio Academy ARIAS for Freeflow - Unchained Poetry's weekly National Prison Radio show in collaboration with the Shannon Trust. 🎧 Listen to this years win!

Vital work from HMPPS & Shannon Trust, helping prisoners learn to read by training them to teach each other in a peer-led scheme. This helps prisoners develop the skills they need to contribute positively to society after release.
