HAZMAT INCIDENT  As of 4:11 a.m., Hwy 16EB toward Tacoma is closed at Olympic Dr for fire dept activity. Traffic detoured onto Olympic Dr & back onto SR 16 at 24th St. Expect long delays. Updates will be posted when the highway reopens.

Troopers and WSDOT Tacoma are on scene with a vehicle vs pedestrian collision on SR 167 (River Road) just south of 44th. The road is closed. Detours are in place at 50th Ave E and 44th St E.

🚨SB I5 MP 189 (Everett Mall) is partially blocked for a vehicle versus motorcycle fatality collision. This is an extended closure while troopers on scene investigate this tragic collision.

‼️ Southbound I-5 to Bay Street is closed while Troopers investigate a vehicular assault from a 1-car rollover collision. The passenger from that vehicle has been transported to the hospital in stable condition with serious injuries.

Update #2: If you need to access SR-167 or Portland Avenue, you’ll need to turn around at the next exit after Bay Street and access it from northbound I-5.

Our #PointDefiance/#Tahlequah route is out of service until further notice due to crewing shortage. We will provide updates as we get them and apologize for the inconvenience.

BREAKING: A deadly motorcycle crash on NB I-5 in Kent. 4 lanes are closed. 3-mile backup is growing. Shanté Sumpter says drive times are now 90 min Tacoma➡️Seattle. 😲

Multi-vehicle collision on southbound I-5 near the Tacoma Dome. 3 left lanes open. The collision involves an empty tanker truck. Due to the nature of the crash, expect this to be an extended incident.
