Today's the day we say farewell to the amazing Shaun Hope. It's safe to say, no one has made Hartlepool College, our splendid torch, burn so brightly over the last decade and a half - thank you, Shaun 🙏 Bishop Auckland College you are so lucky to have him.

Strange day saying goodbye to Shaun Hope as he leaves for pastures new. I know he will be a huge success, day 1s together from start, good luck pal and enjoy the wine 👏👏👏

What a venue The Auckland Project for last night’s event! Thanks to Jonathan & Jane Ruffer for the invitation to the thanksgiving of Bishop Paul as he retires as the Bishop of Durham. A special event in a special venue. Proud to represent Bishop Auckland College.

It’s #CollegesWeek2024 and with a week to go until the spring budget we are asking government to: Mind the skills gap Make a down payment on ABS These steps will allow colleges to play an even bigger role in a strong society and a growing economy. Association of Colleges (AoC) #loveourcolleges

Great intent Jacqui Smith 👏👏👏 You do know that in a few weeks' time there will be no level 3 qualifications in many areas such as electrical installation - skills on which the economy depends. The T Levels which replace these quals aren't adequate.

Fantastic news for the sector and most importantly the 1000s of young people who were set to be disadvantaged as a result of this. Well done Bridget Phillipson and well done Darren Hankey for being a consistent campaigner for this 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
