The application of science in sport is measured with impact to outcomes. Over the last few years the difference is palpable with why we are doing. Huge fan of Shawn M. Arent, PhD and recommend pro or elite teams use his private services. Nothing beats a peace of mind.

Hey The Today Show -supplements ARE regulated by the FDA. In fact, supplements have more FDA regulation than functional foods which consumers (and RDs) don’t think twice about before purchasing. As an RD, it angers me that ALL RDs are not aware of this. #supplementfacts

The bizarre emphasis on "Zone 2" training is as misguided as the odd enthusiasm for cold water immersion. Social media experts hype the benefits for engagement despite data as flimsy as a spaghetti. I'm waiting for someone to post themselves doing Zone 2 training while cold water

You've probably seen headlines: High-Intensity Training is superior to easy aerobic running. But dig deeper and you'll notice a pattern: most of these studies are short: just 4 to 8 weeks. A recent review tells a fuller story. In the early weeks, HIT and Sprint Interval

This systematic review and meta-analysis finds that heavy strength training is likely to improve cyclist performance through improved cycling efficiency and anaerobic power, supporting the notion that the interaction of V̇O2max, maximal metabolic steady state, non-oxidative
