Time dependent medical emergency this am @MUH: FAST. Therapeutic targets involve rapid recognition, diagnostics (Door to CT 20mins), acute treatments including thrombolysis, inter hospital transfer, initiating Protocol 37, potentially for endovascular thrombectomy. Well done πŸ‘

Status Epilepticus IPE Simulation; carried out in Paeds MUH today. Focus on APLS management, PEWS, ISBAR, Sepsis 6, effective interprofessional communication, management of the prolonged seizure, and consideration of differentials. Well done to all involved πŸ‘ β³οΈβ˜ŽοΈπŸ“‘πŸ’‰

Today in MUH we engaged in a System check simulation on the process of esclating to an obstetric emergency and time critical decisions and transfer to the theatre due to cord prolapse. Fantastic interprofessional communication, outcomes, & situational awareness. Well done πŸ‘
