NHC has increased the formation chances to 40% for the low centered near Cape Canaveral, FL. Development is possible in the northeast to north-central Gulf in the middle to latter part of the week. This system continues to NOT look like a concern for our area.

Still a bit early to talk about storm intensity with #Invest93L as it is now wobbling over land just north of Cape Canaveral and hasn't developed over the Gulf yet. Hopefully it will skirt land along the NE Gulf and stay on the weaker end, but any additional time over open waters

The 2.2 M earthquake near downtown Summerville yesterday was felt much more locally than regionally. I had one report that a contractor felt it pretty good in Nexton, whereas the home owner was ~12 minutes away and felt nothing.

All the hoopla about a heat wave next week. Reminder that it is summer and it has happened before on July 21-25th. Attached is a somewhat recent reference point from 2017. Just be ready for it is all.
