Lovely to be back Chichester College to celebrate their 60th anniversary. A retro meal of prawn cocktail, chicken Kiev and baked Alaska brought back memories. The students were as brilliant as always.

Delighted to be Landex conference listening to Jacqui Smith on the importance of rural skills to the governmentâs 5 missions Department for Education

Now enjoying hearing from Roger Cotes on skills at the heart of the governmentâs agenda and the importance of Landex colleges. Cat Hayes has joined him from Department for Education

I visited the impressive É´á´Ęá´Ęá´á´á´á´á´É´ á´á´ĘĘá´É˘á´ today and enjoyed seeing the wonderful facilities and buildings available to train and skill the local community. Thank you Jason Lancaster for hosting me in colleges week.

A wonderful visit to Christ the King Sixth Forms today to open their T Level hospital ward and meet first year students who were engaged and receiving expert teaching from nurses and a doctor. Great industry links to King's College NHS. Shireen Razey leads three excellent Catholic 6th form colleges.

Thank you amy for hosting me with Susan Acland-Hood yesterday. Fantastic facilities supported with Department for Education capital. We also saw a Manchester hair & beauty skills competition which raises aspirations

Really enjoyed visiting Brighton MET College and seeing the refurbishment supported by Department for Education & Chichester College. I caught up with a few familiar faces too. Amazing views from the new windows & wonderful art.

I visited the beautiful West Thames College yesterday, hosted by Tracy Aust. It is an inspiring campus with a lovely old house and well planned modern buildings surrounding it - and judged outstanding by Ofsted. Hounslow Council has a great asset.

I enjoyed visiting Bradford College today for their annual strategic conversation. It was great to see the recovery from some challenges a few years ago. It is an inspiring place for students to learn.

My second Yorkshire visit was to Craven College, celebrating 200 years in Skipton. Lovely facilities for students, & a strong employer link to local land based employers. A great turnaround led by Anita Lal their principal. Glad to see them doing so well.

Wonderful to be at Sunderland College and now listening to Roger Cotes focusing on the way colleges are delivering the five government missions Department for Education

Yesterday I visited NCDOfficial. A beautiful college serving Durham & beyond. It has significant HE as well as FE programmes & has invested in some state of the art equipment, particularly in engineering. Great employer partnerships Thank you to Andy Broadbent for hosting me.

It was a lovely evening and delicious food. I can highly recommend Senator Greg Leding
