An independent review has found that a disability group that Bristol City Council said they consulted ahead of the beginning of the East Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood (EBLN) trial scheme has never actually existed.

Bristol City Council dodged a direct question & has failed to provide any confirmation or evidence the 'Barton Hill Disabilities Group' is real bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…

Council: You want us to increase congestion & emissions on the most polluted roads? If traffic doesn't 'evaporate' we'll be sacked for criminal negligence! LTN activist: Don't worry, we've got academics who'll say traffic evaporated and journalists to sell the lie to the public.

"No comment" from Active Travel England & Chris Boardman CBE as Government confirms rollout of "miracle pill" obesity drugs, following rises in obesity in areas such as Peter Walker's Champion Hill LTN scheme. Active Travel failed. But why give up on exercise? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Useless Lambeth Labour Lambeth Council adopting their usual if you are not with us you are against us’ stance. Saying that Lambeth Green Party 🔶Lambeth Lib Dems🔶 oppose pollution reduction and building of affordable housing reeks of desperation. #anyonebutlambethlabour26

Council: “The Barton Hill Disabilities Group was consulted.” Everyone: Who?? That group doesn’t exist! Council: 😅 Wasn’t me! Also Council: Blame the Caps Lock… it was a grammatical error. 😂😂😂 ⁦ bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…

So after years of Lambeth Labour (((Rezina))) 🌹🐝 Claire Holland lecturing us on how LTNs tackle climate change, reduce overall pollution etc, Better Streets West Dulwich confirms what we already knew ie that LTN activists are only really concerned about the streets THEY live on.

Lambeth residents will read this and weep, probably shedding tears over their council tax bills which have gone up again But still, at least they can still apply for council cash for a ‘parklet’. Claire Holland (((Rezina))) 🌹🐝 Danny Adilypour Lambeth Council

The reality of Lambeth Council ‘s (((Rezina))) 🌹🐝 Claire Holland’s parklets. No wonder that after 3 years of the council pushing these contraptions a tiny number of Lambeth’s 160k households hve applied to have them placed outside their homes Andrew Ellson Private Eye Magazine

This is a long tweet where I spell out my opposition to the pedestrianisation of key thoroughfares in Central London. The glee which some have shown at plans to pedestrianise yet another key thoroughfare in Central London is misplaced, in my view. Yes, a lot of people walk

There has been a tiny c4 %⬇️ in mileage driven across Lambeth since 2019 Lambeth Council admit that some vehicle journeys across LTN areas will take longer but don’t quantify this in terms of mileage driven. They also admit they don’t measure carbon footprint of their LTNs.

"...Absolutely not to benefit residents on one road over another." Would love Cllr Newens to explain Croxted Road versus Court Lane, where 5 years on congestion on Croxted is more than just a 'worry': It's a daily reality.

A cynical ‘win’. The ‘boundary’ roads outside the LTNs, which are often 800% less safe than side roads see no reduction in injuries. Who cares about their residents? theguardian.com/world/2025/jul…
