An application of wetting agent and seaweed was applied this morning followed by a wash in. Fairways, tees and approaches will get the same treatment in preparation for this rain storm which is coming Saturday. Shipley is coming alive

Greens have been rolled instead of a cut today to give them a break. Ignore the white marks on some of them, we’re altering the perimeter on a few. The area around the new wall on 3 is now finished and ready for turfing. Bunkers have all been edged and tidied

Greens cut, rolled and holes changed this morning. We’re also spot treating some high spots and drain lines with the hose. Already 24° air temp 🤯

Another Monday. Fairways are getting a rake/scarify this morning followed by a cut. Greens, tees and apps will also be having a trim. Congrats to Yorkshireman Matt Fitzpatrick on winning me some dollar 🤑

Two years between these two sets of photos. Absolutely delighted with the progress. Halved the OM %, raised the soil PH, improved percolation rates and moisture levels drastically. Limited nitrogen, irrigation, fungicides, spiking and absolutely no coring. Should be a good season
