Only three games this week. The 1sts take on Greetland FC the away side are going well and shire know it will take a big effort. 2nds make the long journey to @GomersalAndClec res. 4ths welcome Dewsbury Rangers FC to adel, never an easy game.

Fixtures: 1st vs Golcar United A.F.C the first welcome an improving Golcar to bedquilts today. 2nds vs Savile United FC the 2nds will be looking to put last week's defeat well behind them. 3rds vs Morley Town AFC at home looking to end a run of three defeats.

4ths vs Hebden bridge saints. A fantastic result last week for the 4ths against the same opposition. Can we go again?

Preseason is on the horizon. We get going on wednesday 26th July @ adel bedquilts 6.30pm. Open training session for all 4 teams new players are welcome.

We have our first preseason game tonight against @alwoodleyfc. Looking forward to a tough test.

Shire 1st secure their first win of the season 4-1 against Leeds Medics & Dentists AFC res. Credit to both teams who kept going in the tough conditions. 2nds unfortunately lose out to Ryburn United FC res 3-1.

Shire 1st return to their new home which they share with @alwoodleyfc this weekend to take on an always strong Golcar United A.F.C. Elsewhere the 2nds welcome FCJFC Open Age looking to secure their first win.

The 2nd game of the year for the 3rds sees them travel to Middleton Park FC. Whilst our 4ths have their first game of the year at home to @thornesiansAFC

1st team bow out of the cup toady after a 2-1 defeat to supreme side Wortley FC open-age. Shire led 1-0 at the break, but conceded two to fall behind. A great contest between the two sides and shire can be proud of their efforts. All the best to Wortley FC open-age in the next round.

Shire number 1 with his new kit. Two great penalty saves yesterday was enough to see the firsts progress. Not a great performance but all credit to @northhuddsfc who made things very difficult.

NEXT UP Hopefully both teams in action this weekend. 1sts entertain Shire academics down at woodend looking to keep applying pressure on the teams above. 2nds face Queensbury with new manager Matty looking to pick 3pts up in his first game. All@support welcome.

Game day tomorrow for all 4 sides. The 1sts building on a win last week welcome high flying Shelf. 2nds travel to Dewsbury Moor FC looking to continue their promotion push. 3rds face Hebden Bridge away in a tricky fixture and finally the 4s welcome Gildersome Spurs OB 3rds to adel.

Huge day for the club today as club legend and second team manager Mike plays his last game for the club. Always a picture of health in every game. Thank you Mike for everything you have done for the club.
