Absolutely honoured to be part of the team to win the Vice-Chancellors Excellence in Teaching Award and Teacher of the Year at Western Sydney University for the subject that equipped students to engage in their communities about the October 2023 referendum. 1/2.

I was included in the nomination for designing our introductory public law course such that students were given the scaffold to engage thoughtfully with the public law questions that underpinned the Voice to Parliament and to think about the public law implications. 2/2

I feel a deep sense of pride. Nothing I do will have as much impact as equipping a generation of students to be engaged, deliberative members of our polity.
