To celebrate #Child #Life #Month, our team along with our Recreation Therapy intern, Keisha, planned several special activities. Among them, our out-patients enjoyed a photo booth activity in collaboration with the Starlight Canada.

Yesterday, select players from Vermont and New Hampshire faced off at the 70th edition of the Maple Sugar Bowl at Castleton University to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada and Shriners Childrens New England. Patients Levon and Grace were proud to thank the players, sponsors & volunteers.

Our patients and families had a great time at the Santa Claus Parade this week-end. Thanks to Urgences-santé and to our employees who prepared the hospital's float and entertained the crowd. So nice to see patients have a sparkle in their eyes when Santa Claus appears !

This past week the hospital was host to its annual Seminar with participants from across Canada and the northeast US. This is an occasion for Shriners and Ladies to learn more about care, teaching and research through formal presentations,workshops and panel discussions.

When our patients are hospitalized for several weeks, it's not just a question of caring for them, but also of making their stay a happy one. So, our nurses decided to turn their orthopedic bikes or wheelchairs into a source of fun inspiration. #nurses ❤️#patients

June 6 is 1876, the Imperial Council, International Shriners Awareness Day. The Karnak Shriners celebrate this special day at the hospital with the Motor Corps Unit bringing two parade vehicles and giving out ice-cream and popsicles to patients, families and staff!
