Just submitted an article for review on the night before my first day of class and my APSA flight. Someone please commend me because my husband doesn't understand and won't give me the high praise I so clearly deserve. And yes, this is why I've returned to this platform...

And while I'm at it, if you're headed to #APSA2024, consider stopping by our Saturday panel on military interventions, or let me know if you'd like to meet up for a coffee or a philly cheesesteak or something. tinyurl.com/26acvdvy

Day 1 of #APSA2024 and I’ve already stuffed my face with delicious Georgian pastries, so I think it’s going well. Reading Market in Philly makes Boston’s Quincy Market look like a quaint grocery store.

Walking to my #APSA2024 panel, and look what I spot right next to my hotel. Not that I’m religious, but my great grandfather helped make this church possible in the 1900s, so that’s pretty cool! Ok, off to my panel now.

Woke up before dawn to catch our flight to Boston, but #APSA2024 in Philly was so worth it! The double rainbow 🌈 last evening was the cherry on top (esp. since we were on Cherry St. pier šŸ˜…)

In Banja Luka, Kremlin-aligned Bosnian Serb secessionist ŠœŠøŠ»Š¾Ń€Š°Š“ ДоГик throws a cocktail party in honour of Trump's victory, saying his win "symbolises a return to values we hold dear". Last year, Dodik said he would declare Republika Srpska independent if Trump is re-elected.

Two thoughts on the Gaza ceasefire: - I'm glad there is a ceasefire - Its easy to agree to a ceasefire when there isn't much left to fire upon.

As someone who speaks a 2nd language at about the same level of fluency as Zelensky’s English, it surprises me that no one has referenced this in their analysis of the oval office row. Nuance, dexterity and manners are very hard to achieve 2 against 1 in a foreign language
