Honored to receive the sole endorsement of ⁦Sierra Club Seattle⁩ ! For decades, the Sierra Club has guarded our natural environment and pushed for conservation action. Especially in our fight against climate change. I am proud to stand with them to build a sustainable Seattle.

Cascadia high speed rail can help free up capacity at our region's airports, rather than building an expensive new airport that will damage our environment and worsen the climate crisis. It's also better - and cheaper - than widening freeways. seattletimes.com/seattle-news/t…

We agree -- Maren Costa is the best choice for District 1 this fall! She has been a champion for the environment and climate action, fearlessly taking on some of the most powerful people in the world in order to build a more sustainable and equitable future for us all.

We know housing is a climate issue. It's also a human rights issue, as this article makes clear. Seattle needs to welcome everyone, rather than price people out and put up barriers to others seeking to make a home here.

Today is the final day to share your priorities for our proposed project list for the #SeattleTransportationPlan. It doesn't take long! Give it a go here: bit.ly/engageSDOT

This is the right outcome and one we urged Seattle City Council to take. Transportation impact fees require much more study on their impact on housing, transportation, and our climate goals before we open the door to their adoption.

🎉🎉🎉 Seattle joins 12 other governments in establishing a building performance standard to transition large buildings to clean electricity. Thank you Lisa Herbold for your leadership on this policy! komonews.com/news/local/sea…

We're shocked and disappointed that local businesses would lobby against action to tackle the climate crisis that would make it easier for people to take transit to their locations. We strongly urge them to reconsider their position and embrace the Route 40 improvement project.
