In my opinion, this is tied to the affordable housing crisis in Utah and will continue until it’s addressed at the root, not around the edges.

I don’t care what side of the aisle you’re on, the President of the United States even joking about revoking someone’s citizenship should be met with universal condemnation.

My article on incumbency advantage in presidential elections is now out with issue and page numbers 🥳 Being an incumbent president comes w/ inherent electoral advantages after 1 term. After 2 terms, a party is not inherently *dis*advantaged--just no more incumbency advantage.

My new article with Jessica Trounstine shows hundreds of city governments had organized employees by the 1930s-1950s. Despite different legal contexts before 1960, the timing & location of early public-sector organization had more in common with private-sector organization than is often

James Medlock Just to add some more data here: In our new poll, just 16% of voters 18-29 say the Democratic Party has moved too far to the left, whereas 49% say the Republican Party is too far-right. This is not a conservative group

Excited that our (apoorva.lal, Yiqing Xu, Gary ziwen_Zu) paper won the Political Analysis' 2024 Editor's Choice award! It was really a lot of work (we started this in 2018!), so nice to see we've had some impact on the field. It's also open access. cambridge.org/core/journals/…
