Net C storage of the supplied timber is reduced by 1.5%-5% by harvesting and transport. CO2 emissions for forest machinery are ca. 4 kg/CO2/m3 and for downstream logistics on average 11 kg/CO2/m3. Emissions are low compared to the C storage in sawn timber. doi.org/10.14214/sf.24…
