All children's programming (ages 6 months to 18 years) at the Silverthorne Recreation Center is canceled, Thursday, March 14, in accordance with the Summit County School District school closure.

The Silverthorne Police Department has issued an evacuation order for the area of N. Golden Eagle/ N. Chipmunk Lane due to a gas main break. Please leave the area immediately. Follow the Town of Silverthorne for more information on this incident as it becomes available.

UPDATE 7:04 p.m.: The evacuation for the area surrounding N Chimpunk and N Golden Eagle has ended, and residents are welcome to return to their homes. Xcel Energy is repairing the high-pressure gas line and will provide additional information regarding gas service.
