Are the systemic and tissue specific hepcidin-fpn axis regulation uncoupled? Exciting talk and a lot of work to do in the future to answer very important questions about the tissue specific regulation of iron metabolism and its implications!

How do you characterize hepcidin regulation in diabetes? The great work of @SandroAltamura #ferros clearly tells us that hepatic steatosis is the primary cause of hepatic iron resistance! #EiC2022
