PCC Simon Foster is updating AGB on the expansion of #OpFearless The PCC has invested almost £1m into this operation, seeing the force work with partners to drive down crime. Launching in Erdington, it has now expanded to Southside.


The PCC Simon Foster also updated AGB about his decision to double the number of weapon surrender bins in the West Midlands. This takes the total to 64, reaffirming his commitment to tackling knife crime as a top priority.


PCC Simon Foster also told AGB that he was delighted to support Birmingham Pride over the weekend 🌈


The PCC Simon Foster was pleased to attend and support the WMP Sikh Association Sikh Association's Vaisakhi at Tally Ho celebration. A fantastic day of community engagement, that featured educational activities, art, crafts, sports, cultural experiences, and langar 🙏


The PCC Simon Foster also revealed more than 2,000 clips are being uploaded by motorists every month as part of his #OpSnap

.Birmingham City Boxing Club is getting £5K from the PCC's My Community Fund to upgrade equipment. Simon Foster went along to meet the young people benefiting and former WBA World champion Kal Yafai who runs the club with his two brothers #MyTomorrow


The PCC Simon Foster's My Community fund is helping community projects across the West Midlands. Dozens have received a share of £330,000 this year after the money was seized from criminals under the Proceeds of Crime Act. For more info - bit.ly/3SnXKn1

PCC Simon Foster attended the Vyshyvanka Day Celebration in Birmingham earlier this month. It brought together more than 150 Ukrainians in Vyshyvankas - who share stories, song and emotions.


The PCC Simon Foster is out and about in Coventry today with MP Taiwo Owatemi and the local police team. They’re visiting small businesses to hear about anti social behaviour and shoplifting problems.


The PCC and Taiwo Owatemi are hearing from shopkeepers and members of the public about their experiences with anti social behaviour and shoplifting and how rebuilding community policing - the PCC’s top priority - can help.


With PCC Simon Foster holding the force to account, West Midlands Police is now the best performing metropolitan force for answering non-emergency 101 calls. 🔵Between May 2024 and April 2025, the force answered 93.4% of all 101 calls within three minutes - the average time
