Tonight, after drinks, I had dinner with my chums from the I.C.C.A @fhimlsmlp in Minneapolis. The chef has a lot of arrows to his bow. But his first appears to be his Moroccan background. These "lamb cigars". Like a pastilla, were the highlight for me.

Oh my. Lalo Schifrin has passed. He was 93. I believe. His composer portfolio of cinematic favorites includes "Mission Impossible" "Bullitt" and "Dirty Harry". What a great gift to leave. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
