Does the PWP role need to be reserved for postgrads?Apprenticeships open up the role to a diverse group who are likely to have more experience working in MH than the average recent graduate (support workers, healthcare assistants etc) 1/2

PWPs with PG or UG training are a fantastic resource within IAPT, but we can enhance what they bring if we also attract those who don't possess degrees but are perhaps more representative of the communities they serve.

It's a really good point Karen. I wonder if there is room to embrace some more preventative work in the community via workshops etc, before the complexities we all see at step 2 have developed. This work could be done by apprentices.
