May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, and next week is also Teacher Appreciation Week. In honor of this special occasion, a few Chinese friends have launched an initiative to invite Chinese restaurants in the RTP area to join in the celebration.

My students and I made dumplings 🥟 together at school — from preparing the filling to wrapping and tasting them. It was such a memorable hands-on experience! Even after 3 p.m., students were still stopping by my classroom asking, “Are there any dumplings left?”Participate Learning

After finishing their AAPPL test, my 8th graders gave a Chinese presentation to 6th and 7th graders about what the AAPPL is and how to prepare for it. Such a meaningful peer-learning experience — I’m so proud of them!@ParticipateLrng
