We were on the news last night trailblazing with our safe zone for women to access healthcare without harassment in #Ealing, sadly the government has still not followed through. Rupa Huq MP SisterSupporter Ealing Council #WomensHealth

The new guidelines are tantamount to undermining an act of Parliament. Ealing & SisterSupporter led the way with our Safe Zone, despite the complexity and challenge. The legislation was intended to make it a little easier. Now it is being undermined by the government itself.

It should not have had to take SisterSupporter to finally force action. Their work is inspirational. Ealing did act. We showed the country how it could be done. With today’s announcement, women across the UK finally get the framework for everyone else to act. So they should.
