Another amazing evening of science and fun! Last night Medway School of Pharmacy presented another spectacular Pint of Science UK event 2 of our PhD students Lorna Brown & Makurata Zaninka talked about circadian rhythms & sleep as we age and blood pressure connection to pain perception


And just like that the last night of Medway School of Pharmacy Pint of Science UK festival ended with the truth about Alcohol and herbal medicines! We got the truth in a glass from Media Zanganeth and asked is it food or medicine? Sukvinder Bhamra says it could be both!



Can you measure a unit of alcohol? Last night at Medway School of Pharmacy Pint of Science UK we were all put to the test... harder than it sounds but we had Media Zanganeh to show us the truth in a glass!


If you missed it Medway School of Pharmacy very own Sukvinder Bhamra turned Pint of Science UK into a potions class as she invited us to make our own herbal remedies for common conditions!


The final winners of special Pint of Science UK glasses were announced last night. It's been a great week of learning and showcasing the diverse range of research at the Medway School of Pharmacy.
