Great opportunity to help shape the future of the Glaukos project. #Biopolymers for the future

Are you as excited as me about discovery of enzymes for plastic depolymerization, but in need of a robust high throughput screening platform? Then take a look at the exciting work by Sophia Heyde that we just published in Microbial Cell Factories. ā¦robialcellfactories.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11ā¦

Last 1st and 2nd December the 4th Glaukos project Consortium Meeting took place in a phygital event: online and onsite, in the BBEPP Facility in Ghent. This allowed all the partners to actively participate in the debate and to set up the next steps of the project.

Please spread the word! We have several open PhD positions in our group Forschungszentrum Jülich | @[email protected] on microbial biotechnology focused on #Pseudomonas, #Ustilago & bioconversion of plastics. fz-juelich.de/SharedDocs/Steā¦

From Bettina Siebers and colleagues: Activity-based protein profiling of lignocellulose-degrading enzymes from the white rot fungus Phanerochaete chrysosporium identifies those specifically active in the presence of wood substrate. nature.com/articles/s4200ā¦
