Canada will achieve NATO’s 2% target this year — half a decade ahead of schedule.   In an increasingly dangerous world, we will be ready to protect our people, our sovereignty, and our Allies.

This is the strongest most courageous comment I have seen from our federal government …. Thank you Mark Carney … I look forward to seeing this courage and clarity in action. #moreofthisplease #hope

That we, Ontario, a province of a G7 country is having measles outbreaks is mind boggling. Vaccinate your kids. Billions of children have been vaccinated against measles (in 2023, 107M infants were vaccinated). The 1998 paper falsely linking the vaccine to autism was retracted.

None of these newborn infections should have happened because of unvaccinated mothers. The vast majority of pregnant women are however, vaccinated. But this is the news I'd expect in an impoverished nation, not Canada. It is shameful. cbc.ca/news/canada/to…

This disgusting and antisemitic act of vandalism is an attack on the memory and dignity of victims and survivors of the Holocaust and must not be tolerated. The investigation into a hate crime by the Ottawa Police should bring swift justice.

But for Ottawa, make no mistake: the disruptor has arrived. Michael Sabia’s appointment as Clerk of the Privy Council is nothing short of a seismic moment for the Government of Canada. This is, after the Prime Minister, the single most powerful position in the federal system —

Pinning a Senator to the ground and handcuffing him for asking questions in a press conference is not what a democracy does. I know red lines are being crossed every day, diluting the outrage (that's the point), but this makes the damage increasingly more difficult to repair.

The West's success can be summarised in the simple observation that millions who live in it are unable to understand what it is like to deal with hostile enemies who want to invade your country and kill you because all they've ever known is freedom, safety and plenty.

Measles was eliminated in Canada in 1998. Now, thanks to vaccine disinformation, we are seeing the highest rates in decades. 12 Albertans are now in ICU with complications of measles. This is a preventable tragedy. Vaccines work. Please get vaccinated. cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

Yes, this is fascism. For years, historians and experts were cautious about using the f-word to describe today's events. But that hesitation is gone now. 🧵

Alberta is up to 879 cases of #measles. Experts fear #polio could be next. This is a deplorable and preventable state of affairs. cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

At St. Paul’s we marked the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide—remembering the 8,000 Bosniak men and boys murdered because of their ethnicity and religion. As global tensions continue to escalate, we must remember we have more in common than that which divides us.
