When out of Phnom Penh, its important to meet civil society organisations. In Siem Reap, we met ADHOC-Cambodia and discussed important issues affecting communities, including people trafficking, democratic rights and the resettlement of people living in the archaeological zone.

I’ve met and admire Chhim Sithar, a courageous & tenacious labor union leader who peacefully advocates for the rights of Cambodian workers. We urge her release, an end prosecutions against union activists, and support for efforts to constructively resolve labor disputes.
