New preprint alert! 🚨 Nan investigated how sliding droplets deform soft substrates, shedding #elastocapillary ridges behind. In our latest preprint (arxiv.org/pdf/2409.00280), we explore how droplet speed affects its shape and dissipation, and how they are intertwined.

New Publication! 📢 Not all biomolecular condensates are simple droplets. 🔍 Bik1, a key microtubule plus-end tracking protein in budding yeast, forms condensates that aren’t uniform liquids but fluid fractal networks. 🔗 nature.com/articles/s4146… Congrats to all co-authors!🎉

New prepint! We study thermodynamics of microphase separation in a swollen, strain-stiffening polymer network, enabling prediction of phase diagrams. Congrats, Carla Fernandez-Rico and all co-authors. We'll start posting more frequently on🦋Search for Softliv. arxiv.org/abs/2506.08958
