The Southeast MS production of “It's Up to Us!” was a collaboration of the Create Change and Fringe Benefits Theater. Students helped write the script, acted and danced alongside theater professionals. The CTE Video Production class from Dymally High filmed the production.

Sylmar Biotech was one of 10 schools that presented at the Lemelson-MIT Program Eureka Fest. They presented their water-saving idea Smart Shower. As a result, the school received a grant to develop a prototype of their invention along with the hopes of receiving a patent.
