Heart Fact of the Week: Happy Diabetes Week! If you have diabetes, please ask your diabetes care team about your blood pressure (BP). People with diabetes are more likely to have high BP. Treating it reduces the risk of eye, kidney, heart disease and stroke.

Heart Fact of the Week: Red meat can increase risk of heart attacks and strokes. Eating 50g of processed meat/day (bacon, ham, sausages) increases the risk of heart disease by 18%. The Heart Foundation recommends ≤3 serves of lean unprocessed red meat/week. Eat in moderation.
