I am thrilled to announce that I just got awarded an 2025-2026 AHA postdoctoral fellowship from AHA Science which will support my study at Department of Medicine at UCLA Health Julia Mack lab. All thanks to my mentor, Dr. Julia J. Mack and co-mentor Dr. Perter Tontonoz as well as all collaborators.

I am thrilled to announce that I just got awarded an 2025-2026 AHA postdoctoral fellowship from <a href="/AHAScience/">AHA Science</a> which will support my study at <a href="/DOM_UCLA/">Department of Medicine at UCLA Health</a> <a href="/californiajulia/">Julia Mack</a> lab.

Plaques inside the coronary arteries sometimes break open or "rupture." This is what causes most 🫀heart attacks. When a plaque breaks open, it causes a blood clot to form inside the artery. As the clot grows, it can completely block off the flow of blood through the artery.
