I’m sickened by the rise in antisemitism in our city. Hate crime is a criminal offence and has no place in London. I’ll continue to work with the police and community representatives to tackle antisemitism and support those affected by such abhorrent abuse.

Delighted to be at Seven Sisters Primary School to launch new guidance for teachers for fostering healthy and respectful relationships among young boys and girls. I saw how teachers and workshop leaders will work with children to understand the power of their words & attitudes.

My last day as Deputy Mayor - was great to join Sadiq Khan as he continues to deliver on his public health strategy to tackle VAWG. Early education to prevent future problems.

The status-quo isn’t working. Prisons are overcrowded and reoffending is too high. David Gauke is a shrewd appointment to spear-head this important review of sentencing, which will make sure no government is forced into an emergency release of prisoners ever again.
