World Kindness Day was the best day ever ha! Loved it! So much positive feedback came in. “The children loved the assembly and really enjoyed making the kindness chains. The child who found the hidden heart was thrilled and passed it onto his parents.” 🥹

Today the both groups of young people loved the session on Anxiety, especially the interactive parts the mind sheet created by Mary & the juggling ball anxiety trick created by Dave! Love this job & all that Sam Tyrer does!

ALL behaviours are communication. This is still an area I see massively misunderstood in far too many schools😞sanctioning a child for unmet needs is never OK. It’s discriminatory at worst and cruel at best - not a good look. I also question how it fits with Teaching Standards🫤

“We’re all a little bit autistic” is possibly one of the most invalidating things you can say to someone with Autism and whilst yes naturally you share some traits just as we do with PD etc. it’s unfair to invalidate someone’s struggles that are that significant & remove support.
