It's time to lean into the discomfort and do the hard work - here are my suggestions: Annals: #GetUncomfortable journals.lww.com/annalsofsurger⦠RASACS: Systemic Racism in Medicine facs.org/publications/n⦠Voice Unheard Podcast: The Glass Ceiling/Cliff Effect voicesinmedicine.com/lesson-from-anā¦

The many hot takes on here that the complications from J&J are so rare we shouldnāt have paused itās use are persuasive at face value. The pandemic IS still raging. We NEED shots in arms. And the risk is SO low! This is all true. But that argument is missing something critical.

Very proud of TUSOM Student Clinic Council (SCC) for the hard work and flexibility that allowed our student-run TB program to continue operations during the pandemic. These M2s adapted the program to continue providing housing clearances while ensuring both student and patient safety. ā¬ļø

Added some letters to my name yesterday! Huge thanks to our commencement speaker Assistant Secretary for Health for the inspiring speech. Next step- onto BMC Surgery! Iām so very grateful for all the support Iāve had to get me to this point! #surgtwitter #MedTwitter #ILookLikeASurgeon

Huge thanks to BMC Surgery for making us feel so welcome!

Walking into the OR locker room with my co-interns, a bit lost and clearly holding up traffic. āSorry! Just finding our way aroundā. Boston Medical Center staff āPlease donāt apologize, you belong here!ā So fortunate to be starting my residency at such a welcoming place š

Scrubbed 5 cases today! First cases of residency š Huge thanks to the PAās BMC Surgery who make it possible for us to learn so much and still get to the OR. Intern year so far has been a hustle but Iāve learned SO much more than I ever thought possible in such a short time.

We survived our first rotation of intern year! (And all managed to have the same evening off). Thankful for some bonding time and a golden weekend coming up! BMC Surgery

Just a normal Tuesday with BMC Surgery. Had a great time at our resident retreat- grateful for everyone that made it possible for every resident to have the day off- we definitely made the most of it!

Welcome to Boston Medical Center!
