Just arrived in London for ‘For the Love of Sharks 🦈 2024’ from the The Shark Trust and super excited to be giving my next Frank T. Buckland lecture at such an amazing venue Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) tonight with some absolute legends inc. Steve Backshall

This really was the most awesome experience and what a night the The Shark Trust team pulled off 🤩 The audience were so warm and engaged and the other speakers were fantastic…a tough act to follow! It was an honour to be a part of it 🙏🦈

This Q&A panel was a joy…the next generation gave us a run for our money (and some great 🦈 research ideas for the future 😉)!

And it’s finally here 🙌🥳🙌! HUGE congratulations to all involved: Rima Jabado for leading, Alex for keeping us in check 😂, editors, contributors, reviewers etc.🙏 This will be an invaluable 🦈 resource for years and it was great to be a part of it IUCN SSC Shark Specialist Group Cefas
