From today, Sheffield Connect is a free service provided by 4 new electric buses. Operating 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday & 09:30am to 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays. SC1 operates up to every 7 minutes, SC2 operates every 20 minutes.

Huge thanks to our much valued driver Adam, who used his own time to help our loyal passenger Biba in painting her fence. Biba has used our Calderdale based services for many years now and is source of great support to our team of drivers. Great thanks to Adam!

The recent lovely weather has offered great opportunities to provide some services with the world's only open air Optare Solo! 'Pennine Air' has been out and about on a variety of routes this week and our wonderful customers love it.

Every Sunday during British Summer Time (BST), service 257 is operating between Sheffield - Bamford. Concessionary passes are welcome along with TravelMaster and Derbyshire Wayfarer, with a full range of tickets available to buy on board. Adult fares are capped at £3.

Last week, Y10 3D Design had a visit from Ben from South Pennine Bus, a mechanical engineer who has been sharing his experience and running a workshop around design & engineering! It was a great experience for students to learn about careers in engineering. Thanks Ben!

This weekend, we are glad to support Honley Open Gardens with the provision of two buses for a circular route of some beautiful gardens in the Holme Valley. The gardens and scenery on route are of equal delight!

From Sunday 20th July 2025 there will be changes to some of our bus services. A summary of the changes is below. New timetables will be available on our website soon.

Something new for Stocksbridge... coming very soon. The new Little Don network of bus services are arriving on Sunday 20th July, with free travel for everyone on the first day of service. Check back for more details soon.

Today we launched the new service 35 Stocksbridge & Deepcar Circular. We handed out batches of printed timetables with sweets and bottled water to welcome new passengers aboard, with free travel on our first day. All timetables, for all our services are on our website.
