IMPORTANT FLOOD UPDATE ‼ LEYBURN Southern Downs Regional Council is at Alert level. The flood level in Leyburn will potentially reach moderate levels of around 3.5m this afternoon. Residents are asked to remain vigilant. The Rural Fire Brigade has door-knocked potentially affected properties.

IMPORTANT FLOOD UPDATE Wednesday 1 December ‼️ #WARWICK AND #PRATTEN. Updated flood modelling from BoM suggests a 6.5m flood at Warwick around 7am today and a 7.3m flood potentially early to mid-afternoon at Pratten today. Rural Fire Service is door-knocking in Pratten.

Leslie Dam is expected to reach 100% capacity later today. It is anticipated that Leslie Dam Road will be closed from 4pm today and water will be released around 6pm. For up-to-date info on road closures visit disasterdashboard.sdrc.qld.gov.au.

This afternoon the Governor and Professor Nimmo visited Warwick Hospital and toured the facility. The Vice-Regal couple met with staff, volunteers and patients.
