The West Lancs and Merseyside Myeloma Support Group will meet on Tuesday 1st July 2.00pm - 3.30pm, Green Lane Guide Headquarters, Green Lane, Ormskirk L39 1QR. We'll share useful sources of information about travel insurance and then invite members to share their experiences.

Don't forget that our swimming group meet in term time at Splashworld on Wednesday mornings - just a few sessions left until the school summer holidays begin. This is a chance to use the Splashworld pool and changing rooms just with this group from 10.30 - 11.30am.

Today is our Coffee and Chat from 2pm where we will have Isaac our Community Connector come and talk about his role and what he can offer in support. There will also be scones and cream cakes so come and see us at 29 Wright Street, Southport.

A reminder that as it is the first Thursday of the month our Thursday craft group will be in the Centre tomorrow between 10 and 12. It has crafting and nattering on offer and everyone is welcome. Approx £1 per session which includes tea and biscuits.

Our Out and About Group are meeting at the main entrance to the Botanic Gardens at 7pm tomorrow (Tues). This will be for a gentle walk ( a bimble) around the grounds followed by a visit for rehydration afterwards. Everyone welcome.

Today our walk starts outside The Atkinson, 10.30 am. This is set to become a permanent reminder of Bebe, Elsie and Alice and their love of dance. Today we will be thinking of the families and friends of the girls, everyone in that class, and all those who have helped them. ❤️

A beautiful day ahead but it's a hot one. Our walking group are meeting at The Atkinson from 10.30 this morning. If you are venturing out then remember your hat, suntan lotion and light layers of clothing if you have particular areas to protect, water, fan and insect repellent.

It's the first day of Southport Flower Show so the town is full of flowers if you are out and about. Enjoy if you are visiting it over the next few days - gardening is often a great form of gentle exercise with fresh air around you. Circuits and chair based exercise are on too.

Another great turn out at chair based exercise yesterday where we completed three shorter rounds of exercises due to the heat. The knitting and poetry group are at the centre this morning enjoying poetry about dance.
