It was a fantastic panel!! Thanks for sharing about the Austrian Space Weather Office! Hopefully this is just the beginning of many more opportunities for forecasters to speak to the community 🥳

Thank you for joining our panel, what a great session! We’ll hopefully be looking at ways to have more forecaster focussed discussions in the future. If we want to have a proper R2O2R process we can’t leave out the operations! ☀️

We’ve got a winner! 🎧🥇 NASA’s Curious Universe podcast won GOLD in the 2024 Signal Awards for its five-part limited series about the 2024 total solar eclipse. Congrats to the podcast team — heliophysics never sounded so good! ☀️👂 Listen here: go.nasa.gov/3vbLmhW

Ever seen this? One of the most striking features of the aurora in the 5 Nov 2023 G3 geomagnetic storm was the color dichotomy of the display. The W part was distinctly purple, while the E part was deep red. The division was across a sharply defined line - the Earth's shadow.

Eruptive M1.9 flare in AR 13901. A nice coronal wave is seen in this animation. This is consistent with the CME mostly going southeast - only a glancing blow may be possible if the CME comes to Earth. But I can be wrong...

Both NOAA and NASA predict the expected #solarstorm will arrive November 28. It will be followed by a glancing blow from another storm launched from Regions 3905 and 3906. #Aurora possible to mid-latitudes, likely waning by late November 29.

HAPPENING RIGHT NOW: NASA’s Parker Solar Probe is making its closest-ever approach to the Sun! 🛰️ ☀️ More on this historic moment from Dr. Nicky Fox Nicola Fox 👇 Follow Parker’s journey: go.nasa.gov/3ZS4SME #3point8

Parker Solar Probe has made history. After seven days of silence, Parker has resumed communication with Earth, confirming it's healthy after soaring just 3.8 million miles from the solar surface — the closest a human-made object has ever been to a star. go.nasa.gov/40cucNU

Thanks for the picture and shoutout! 11-years (a whole solar cycle 😉) since my first AMS where I first heard about space weather and now being able to present (even if virtually) as an active part of the space weather community was truly an honor. 🥹💜 #AMS2025 #SpaceWeather
